Project Downtown
On September 28, 2010, Goody Clancy presented Project Downtown, a detailed report and plan to improve downtown Wichita. Included in the report are recommendations for housing, retail, and office improvements, as well as an overall vision for the city.
Jeff Fluhr, president of the Wichita Downtown Development Corporation, and David Burk, a Wichita developer, talked about the implementation process. In particular, they discussed the housing market and related development financing instruments utilized locally, as well as in Louisville, the recent City-to-City destination.
Below is a link to the downtown master plan and development guide created by Goody Clancy and Jeff's PowerPoint presentation.
