James E. Glassman, managing director and head economist for Chase Commercial Banking, JPMorgan Chase & Co., will present the national forecast at the 33rd Annual Wichita Area Economic Outlook Conference. Mark A. Ruelle, president and chief executive officer of Westar Energy, will discuss the energy industry; and John Dieker, vice president of strategic projects for Bombardier Learjet, will provide insights into the aviation industry. The local economic forecast will be presented by Jeremy Hill, director of the Center for Economic Development and Business Research.

The conference will be held Thursday, Oct. 11, from 7:30 to 11:30 a.m. in the Century II Convention Hall. Tickets are $95 per person through Sept. 28 and $125 after that date. Breakfast is included with the ticket purchase.
