Stefanie Bryant is the News Director and Anchor for the 6 News Lawrence team.  She moved to the Midwest in 2016 and is happy to call Lawrence home.  She’s originally from Shelbyville, Tennessee and a graduate of Middle Tennessee State University.  She’s worked in several markets including most recently, Shreveport, LA at the NBC affiliate there.  She’s also worked in Little Rock, Ark, Amarillo, TX and Concord, NH.  In those markets, she’s done just about everything in the newsroom, including producing, reporting and anchoring.  

She calls herself a ‘news junkie’, who loves everything about it.  “I’m thankful to be able to do something I love”.  She also loves watching documentaries, saying “I could probably watch a documentary on paint drying, and find some fascinating point about it!” 

The Tennessee native and die-hard SEC fan is happy to be in Jayhawk country and is excited about everything KU, “Rock Chalk Jayhawk!”
