Mr. McDonald began working summers for Geiger Ready-Mix in 1980 as a laborer. He began working full time for the company in 1984. Steve received a bachelor degree from KU in 1983 and an MBA from Webster University in 1989. He and his wife, Georgann, have three children, Jack, Sam, and Audrey. Currently, Jack and Sam are students at KU and Audrey is a Junior at Shawnee Mission East High School.
