I was born in Wichita, and grew up in central Kansas. I graduated from WSU in the summer of 1969 with a major in psychology, fulfilling my dream of have nothing to do with the family business. After wondering in the wilderness, I joined my father’s agency in 1971. I became fascinated with the endless variety and of businesses and people who needed our help. I began studying insurance and risk earning the CPCU and ARM designations. I’m still not done learning. My role is to manage an insurance agency. My job there is to help great people do great work.
