Dr. Jim Hardy came to Kansas in a military family via Fort Riley and has been a proud Kansan ever since. He attended Kansas State University for his B.S. and doctorate and Fort Hays State University for his M.S. He has served Kansas students for 38 years in all regions of the state in various teaching and administration positions. He is currently the superintendent of USD 305-Salina Public Schools. Dr. Hardy believes public schools are a vital partner to the economic success of the local community and the state of Kansas.
