Application form for Unemployment BenefitsThe Lawrence, Manhattan, Topeka and Wichita metro areas’ unemployment rates all increased 1 percent from December 2012 to January 2013. The unemployment rate for Kansas, as a whole, increased nearly that much, 0.9 percentage points.
