Jade DeGood is the Traffic Anchor/Reporter for 41 Action News in Kansas City. Before coming to KC she spent three years as an anchor/reporter in Wichita, KS where she used the resources of CEDBR in helping viewers better understand economical impacts to important stories facing the city and state. She started her career in Cheyenne, WY, where in less than a year she was promoted to lead anchor of the evening newscast. She is a graduate of the University of Northern Colorado, with a degree in broadcast journalism. Jade has a long time interest in the economic health of Kansas. She was born and raised on a farm in Saint Francis, a small community in northwest Kansas. She currently resides in Shawnee with her husband.
