Rob Catlett thoroughly enjoys teaching a variety of economics in the Department of Mathematics and Economics at ESU. He currently is the President of the Faculty at and he is the Director of the Centers for Economic Education and Community Research. He is the campus coordinator for the American Democracy Project and Universities Fighting World Hunger at ESU. He is a Faculty in Residence for the Kansas Leadership Center.

He is a member of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City Economic Education Advisory Council. He is on the Editorial Board of the eJournal of Public Affairs, where he also referees for submissions.  Rob serves the on the Career Pathways Collaborative (CPass) and is on the Board of Kansas Jump$tart. Locally, he is a member of the Executive Committee of Healthier Lyon County.

Rob has several research interests and enjoys involving undergraduates in research activities. Most of his twenty-plus refereed academic journal articles are in the area of economic conditions analysis.
