Prior to receiving his doctorate degree in marketing from Florida State University, Duane worked in industry for about 15 years in both brand management and marketing services.  His work included high profile brands such as Polaris Industries, Proctor & Gamble, MillerCoors, Corona Extra, Moosehead Lager and Shiner Beers. Duane specialized in brand strategy and consumer insights.  His current academic research examines how brands engage and co-create/collaborate with various stakeholders to create value through technology. Currently, his work focuses on how brands can leverage new technologies such as AI and AR/VR/Mixed Reality to engage consumers and support brand objectives.
